Kid's Consignment Event

A Quick word about Clothing

• New and Gently Used Clothing 
• ALL Clothing must be on wire hangers (they take up less room on the racks) and secured with large safety pins (no small gold ones).  DO NOT PUT CLOTHING IN PLASTIC BAGS. 
• We accept size Preemie to 18/Teen (0000-21) for kids.
• Freshly launder all clothing.  Clothing must be clean and free of any stains, holes, tears, missing pieces, tears or odors.
• FASTEN ALL SNAPS, BUTTON ALL BUTTONS AND ZIP ALL ZIPPERS.
• All items must have the manufacturer’s tag.
• Pajama sets must have both matching top and bottom.
• No underwear or socks unless BRAND NEW in the original package.
• Please DO NOT tag women’s clothing/Mom clothing for the Juniors/Teen Girls Section. It should be clothing your teen would actually wear.
• Swimwear accepted at all sales.
• Dancewear accepted at all sale.
• Jeans, uniforms and hoodies accepted at any sale.
• Halloween costumes accepted at all sales.
• Please be sure that socks, tights, hats, etc are CLEAN!
• Maternity wear is also accepted

Arts & Crafts

• New or like-new art supplies and craft projects, as long as they are KID RELATED.
• Please do not list craft items that have been used. This includes coloring books with missing or colored pages, sticker boxed craft projects that have been opened, and or activity books that have been partially completed.
• Crafts should be a complete kit and not a bag of miscellaneous items.  

 Bathing Equipment

• Tubs, towels, bath seats, washcloths, spout covers, tub toys, etc.

Bedding-Children

• Includes: crib sheets, receiving blankets, boppy covers, Sheets, mattress pads, pillows, etc. are fine.
• Bedding will only be accepted in the toddler bed/crib size, and twin and full size. 
• Make sure character bedding sets include all parts (fitted sheet, flat sheet and pillow case)
• Single layer blankets are accepted ONLY if they are kid-themed. 
• NO crib bumpers. 

 Blanket

• Shoppers are more likely to purchase if they can see the blanket.  
• Hang and tag your blanket like a clothing item.  
• Blankets will have their own section on the racks.
• If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together on a hanger (make sure to safety pin them to the hanger and together.
• Bagged blankets cannot be accepted. 

 Book

• Infant Board Books- Adult Fiction & Classics
• Children’s and Maternity hardcover and paperback books are welcome.
• Books should be in good condition, free of writing and torn pages.
• Partially completed activity/sticker books are not accepted.
• You can place multiple same level reading books in a ziploc bag and that counts as 1 item (for the 300 item limit)
• Please do not put packing tape on the cover when tagging! Painter's tape will ensure that the covers do not get ripped.  Tape the tag to the BACK cover of the book with painter’s tape with a piece at the top and bottom of the tag.
• Homeschool has it’s own category!
• Note: We do not accept Parenting and Pregnancy titles.

Boy's Accessories

• Basically, anything a child would wear that is not hanging clothing or shoes.
• Gloves, Mittens, Scarves, Hats, Umbrellas, Socks, Undergarments (must be new in package) Sunglasses, backpacks, lunchboxes, belts/ties, etc.

Boy's Clothing

• Size 24M and continuing through size 18 kids
• Dance wear, gymnastics leotards, swimwear, baseball pants & outerwear
• Bundling like items and outfits is encouraged.

 Boy Shoes

• The categories for kid shoes sizes 5-13.5.  Bigger kids’ sizes go from 1-7.5 

 Car Seat

• We do NOT accept car seats, booster seats, convertible seats, booster seats or infant seats.

Costume

• Sizes available from Newborn- Kid 18 and Teen sizes S-XL as well
• Halloween Costumes
• Dress-up Costumes

Decoration

• If it has to do with a kid’s room, use the category: Decoration
• Themed picture frames, mobiles, rugs, lamps, art prints, and general décor - MUST be infant/child themed

 Diapering

• Diapers (new packages only), cloth diapers, diaper pails, potty chairs, diaper genies, training pants, absorbent pads
• Potty seats that are THOROUGHLY cleaned and sanitized with no cracks, gouges, stains, or odors may be accepted. 

 Electronics

• DVDs only.  Only G and PG rated movies are allowed.  No PG-13 or R movies will be accepted. 
• NO CDs or VHS.
• Game Systems- XBOX/Playstation/ Wii/Nintendo Switch
• Video Games - Only video games with the ESRB ratings of Early Childhood, Everyone, and Everyone 10+ will be accepted 
• TV's, Stereos, Karaoke Machines
• V-Tech/Leap Pads
• Ipads/Tablets
• Amazon Alexas
• DVD Players

Feeding/Utensils

• Includes: Bottles, sippy cups, bibs, toddler plates, Nursing supplies
• Breast Pumps (NEW in box only, bottles & accessories OK)
• NO USED NIPPLES OR PACIFIERS PLEASE (unless new)

Furniture (anything not specifically infant related – see below)

• Includes: Toddler beds, cribs, crib sized mattresses, changing tables, rocking chairs, small seats, Pottery Barn chairs, gates, high chairs, pack ‘n play, strollers, guardrails, etc. are all accepted. 
• Nursery rocker or glider
• Furniture must not show signs of excessive wear.
• All furniture must be assembled (by the consigner) when dropped off (exception – large bunk bed sets
• Cribs: Cribs must be manufactured after June 28, 2011 per government regulations. Cribs with an earlier date of manufacture will not be accepted.  Drop-side cribs are not accepted under any circumstances.

 Game

• Board games must include all pieces as described on the original box. Games with missing pieces will not be accepted at the sale. 
• Please place all small pieces to your toy in a ziplock bag and tape to the inside of the box

Girl's Accessories

• Basically, anything a child would wear that is not hanging clothing or shoes.
• Gloves, Mittens, Scarves, Hats, Umbrellas, Hairbows, Hairbands, Tights, Socks, Kid Purses, Undergarments (must be new in package) Sunglasses, backpacks, lunchboxes, belts/ties, etc.

 Girl's Clothing

 Infant Clothing-Unisex

• Sizes Preemie, Newborn, 0-3M, 3M, 3-6M, 6M, etc. etc. up to the range size of 18-24M.
• Bundling like items and outfits is encouraged.

 Infant Equipment (used for infant stage)

• Includes: bouncers, swings, strollers, activity mats, stationary chairs, monitors, mobiles, swaddles, exersaucers, play yards, walkers, Boppy pillows, Changing table, Bassinet.
• These items should all be clean and function properly.
• Bumbo Baby Seats: Bumbo Baby Seats are accepted provided they have been fitted with the free repair kit.
• Mamaroo Swings: Mamaroo baby swings are accepted provided they have been repaired with the strap-fastener recall kit. 
• High chairs can go in this section or the Furniture section (because they’re used past the infant stage)
• Car Seats have their own section

Infant Misc.

• Basically, anything a child would wear that is not hanging clothing or shoes.
• New in the package pacifiers, shopping cart carriers, baby monitors and all the other cool little infant care items
• Gloves, Mittens, Scarves, Hats, Hairbows, Hairbands, Tights, Socks, Kid Purses, Undergarments (must be new in package) Sunglasses, etc.  

 Infant Shoes

• Sizes in this category include the infant/crib shoes sizes of 0-3 as well a size 4 and 4.5. 

 Maternity Clothing

• Clothing, nursing bras , nursing covers etc. in sizes S-XL
• Boppy Nursing Pillows:  Should be clean of stains and odors. 
• All seasons accepted  These items should be in current fashion, and subject to the same wear/tear inspection process as other categories. 

 Puzzle

• Puzzles must include all pieces as described on the original box. Puzzles with missing pieces will not be accepted at the sale. 
• For puzzle boards, you can saran wrap the puzzle pieces in place and then use packing tape to hold it all tightly in place. 

Shoes

• Shoes Infant
  • Sizes in this category include the infant/crib shoes sizes of 0-3 as well a size 4 and 4.5. 
• Boys or Girls
  • Shoes-Boy & Shoes-Girl - The categories for kid shoes sizes 5-13.5.  Bigger kids’ sizes go from 1-7.5 
• Teen Boy Shoes has available sizes 8-13.5
• Teen Girl Shoes has available sizes 8-11.
• NOTE: Tag your cleats and dance shoes under shoes and describe them as “Dance” or “Cleat”

Sport Equipment

• baseball gloves, sleeping bags, bike helmets, golf clubs, balance beams, swing set parts, and nearly anything else you can think of. If it’s sports related, put it here.
• Note: Musical instruments that aren’t toys can go in here too. 

Teen Boy Accessories

• Basically, anything a child would wear that is not hanging clothing or shoes.

 Toy

• Remember that we have lots of excited kiddos that shop at our sale. Please make sure all parts of your toys are secure, especially things with small items.
• Toys should include all major parts. If a minor part is missing, it should be clearly noted on the tag.
  Battery operated toys must include working batteries, functional battery covers, and applicable chargers. 
• Please place all small pieces to your toy in a ziplock bag and tape to the main part (example – nerf bullets. Make sure there are none IN the gun and all are secure in a bag.) 
• Toddler push toys 
• Dolls must be clothed.  No dolls without clothes.  No porcelain dolls. 
• ONLY stuffed animals they have batteries and function with lights, music, etc. OR are Squishmallow, Build-a-Bear, Disney, other licensed character, electronic or "do something"

 Toy – Infant

• Lovies, rattles and soft toys.
• Soft crib toys

Toy – Large

• Doll houses & Furniture, Kitchens, Tool Benches, Easels, Train Tables, Indoor Tents, etc.
• Similar sized items that will be placed on the floor and not on tables 

Toy – Outdoor

• Bikes, trikes, scooters, ride-on toys, playsets, swings, slides, wagons, Playhouses, Cozy Coupes, Water Tables, Battery-Powered Ride-on Cars, bounce houses, trampolines, sand boxes, Little Tikes basketball goals, camping/tents
• Play equipment must be clean and in good working order.
